Not everyone wants to get involved in the same way, however many "jobs" are needed in the fire department. Even
if you do not wish to be the one "inside" the burning building, there are many other jobs in the fire department
that do not include going in that "burning building"

Volunteer Your Time
We hold our weekly in-house training session on Tuesday evenings starting between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m.
Additionally, we hold trainings on Sundays. The first and third Sundays between 11:00am and 1:00pm.

Make a Donation
Even though we are owned by the Borough of Slatington, the monies provided by Borough via the annual budget does not supply
our department with sufficient funds to keep our department with the latest advances in the emergency services field. Our
departments bi - annually solictes the citizens of the Borough via a blanket mailing. If at all possilbe please contribute
with yout tax deductible donation. Also, included in this mailer is vital information that is carried aboard all or our apparatus
which indictates any special circumstances that our volunteer may be faced with upon responding to an emergency at your residence
or place of business.
